About Summit

We exist because
silence kills.

75% of suicides in India are men. Most of them suffered in silence. Summit was built to change that — one honest conversation at a time.

Our mission

Breaking the stigma, one man at a time

Summit exists to create a safe, judgment-free space where Indian men can be honest about what they're going through — and find the support they need to get through it.

We believe that seeking help is not weakness. It is the most courageous thing a man can do. And we've built a platform that makes it as easy and safe as possible.

"Men are taught from an early age that vulnerability is weakness. We're here to prove the opposite."

— Vikrant Yadav, Founder

Our vision

A world where no Indian man suffers in silence

🧠

Mental health is treated the same as physical health — without shame or stigma.

🤝

Every man has access to a trusted community and licensed professional support.

🌏

Cultural pressures and family expectations no longer prevent men from seeking help.

💬

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi — mental health conversations happen in every language.

The problem

Why we can't stay silent

The data on men's mental health in India is alarming. These are not just numbers — they represent real men, real families, and real lives that can be changed.

The gap

India has fewer than 0.3 psychiatrists per 1,00,000 people. Most mental health services are urban, expensive, and not designed for men. Cultural expectations of masculinity — "be strong," "don't cry," "handle it yourself" — mean most men don't even consider asking for help.

Our solution

A platform designed specifically for Indian men — combining peer community, affordable licensed therapy (from ₹799), crisis support, and self-help resources. Available in 12+ languages, accessible from any smartphone, and built around Indian cultural context.

How we work

Our core values

Safe & Confidential

Anonymous by default. Military-grade encryption. What you share stays here, always.

Evidence-Based

Every resource, tool, and therapist on Summit is clinically reviewed by NIMHANS-trained professionals.

Culturally Aware

Built for Indian men — understanding family pressures, career expectations, and the stigma we grew up with.

Community-Led

Peer support is at our core. Real men sharing real stories — because you deserve to feel understood.

Our journey

One man noticed the gap.
So he built something.

2025

The gap becomes clear

After years of watching Indian men silently struggle — at work, at home, and in their own heads — the idea for Summit takes shape.

Early 2026

Summit is built

The full platform goes live: peer community, therapy booking, crisis resources, and self-help tools — all designed specifically for Indian men.

2026 Goal

First 500 men supported

Our goal for this year: help 500 men start honest conversations about their mental health. No shame. No judgment.

Vision

A movement, not just a product

We want every Indian man to know that asking for help is strength. Summit is just the beginning of that conversation.

The founder

Built by someone who gets it

Summit is an independent project — built by one person, for millions of men across India who are told to just "man up" when they're struggling.

VY

Vikrant Yadav

Founder & CEO

Built Summit because he couldn't find a safe space for Indian men to talk honestly about what they're going through. Believes vulnerability is strength, and that no man should have to figure it out alone.
